PAWNEE'S BIG FISH

Fishery Biologist Ben Swigle (center) and two summer aides show off two huge freshwater drum and two good-sized hybrid striped bass ("wipers") sampled by electroshocking Pawnee Powerplant Reservoir near Brush, Colorado. The lake is privately owned and off limits to the public. CDOW uses the lake to grow striped bass brood stock.
