CHEWIN' ON A STRAW IN THE RAIN

A downpour afforded this yearling cow a break from the bugs and a chance to come out on the roadside in northwestern Maine to graze on clover and grasses.

Typical of most Maine moose, this yearling bull had very little interest in the human with the camera. I had to make a racket to get him to look my way.
