SEA LION AND GREAT EGRET HANG OUT

Sea lions along the California and Oregon Coasts have become so habituated to humans that they are sometimes a nuisance. These sea lions are hauled out on a series of floats southeast of Point Loma in San Diego. A number of fish-eating birds including gulls, herons, cormorants and brown pelicans share the basking site.
