MALE ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK IN BREEDING PLUMAGE

The western edge of this eastern species' range lies east of the Colorado border. Yet a small number drift down the South Platte corridor each year and a few pairs may breed on occasion in Morgan County. This breeding male was photographed in Maine.
