Burrowing Owl
This burrowing owl, Athene cunicularia, took great interest in what John Wagner and I were doing in Logan County, Colorado in June, 2007. We were conducting a USGS Breeding Bird Survey route and duly recorded him.

SHIELDING HER BABIES FROM THE MIST
