Sometimes referred to as the Last of the Gunfighters, the single-seat Crusader was the fighter mainstay of the fleet through the first years of the Vietnam War. She sported 4 20mm guns and had a variable-incidence wing that allowed the pilot to land with nose nearly level. She was agile, fast and tough.
