MALE DICKCISSEL IN SONG

The nomadic dickcissel has a predilection for alfalfa fields during those years when it chooses to live in NE Colorado. Within its territory it seldom stops singing some variation of its name. One version is musical; one is buzzy. Both are quite loud.
